The Zen of Coding
Hi, my name is Roa, and I am a fully self-taught web developer and am proficient at finding solutions in a variety of ways as I have had to do so while acquiring my skills without any single source of reference. I enjoy solving real life challenges using the web and am excited to be part of the process in making the web a more dynamic and user friendly place.
When I'm not coding on my computer, I surf on the web about new and future digital technologies (I can't wait until digitized books and 80 inch flat panel screens become the norm), scientific breakthroughs (TED Talks on Youtube is great, I also enjoy staying current with stem cell research) and occasionally politics (at the moment, I follow news about wikileaks with much amusement). Other times I pick up my favorite books on popular science and breeze through (my favorite authors are Richard Dawkins, Malcom Gladwell, and Derren Brown, though Derren is more of a performer - I love his book Tricks of the Mind where he explains behind the scenes of magic and mentalism).
And the reason why I chose the name Network In Design is because I enjoy seeing people all over the world connect with each other across borders and catalyzing human progress through the use of a stronger Interent.
